Margaret Catherine Dawson, 78, a retired cable company customer service representative, widow of Ira Calvin Dawson Jr., died Friday, March 31, 2017 at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born June 5, 1938 in Bourbon County, daughter of the late William Bishop and Effie Sargent Wilson. Margaret was a member of Harpers-White Oak Homemakers (Bath County) and Little Rock Christian Church. She is survived by three sons, Bill (Becky) Dawson, Richmond, Greg (Terri) Dawson, Lexington, Mark (James Larson) Dawson, Atlanta, Georgia; six grandchildren, Kyle (Kayla) Dawson, Kelsea (Matthew) Stegman, Kaleigh Dawson, Drew (Kayla) Dawson, Lauren Dawson, Tyler (Elizabeth) Montgomery; a sister, Helen Reynolds; and three brothers, David Wayne (Patsy) Wilson, John Wesley “J.W.” (Lucy) Wilson, and Ollie Ray (Faye) Wilson. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Chuck Perry with burial in Machpelah Cemetery, Mount Sterling. Casket bearers will be Tyler Montgomery, Drew Dawson, Kyle Dawson, Matthew Stegman, Alex Tyler, and Chase Taylor. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday.
