Obituary for Peter French "Petie" Clough

Peter French "Petie"  Clough
Peter French “Petie” Clough, 64, retired dispatcher for Paris-Bourbon County Emergency Services died Monday, September 4, 2017 at his home. He was born June 6, 1953 in Paris, son of the late Pershing Wilson “Pete” and Sarah Moore Clough. Petie was a graduate of Paris High School, attended Eastern Kentucky University, member of Fraternal Order of Police, life member of the National Rifle Association, member of Central Baptist Church, and was an avid ham radio operator and member of amateur radio clubs in Winchester and Lexington. He is survived by a brother, James L. Clough; a sister, Susan C. Eades; uncle, Earl Clough; two nieces, Susie Johnson, Sarah Vickers; nephew, Wade Eades; and several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 8, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday by F.O.P. Chaplain Ishmael Hopkins with burial in Paris Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Tony Asbury, Wade Eades, Stanley Buchanan, Maurice Lykins, Mark Matthews, John Ransdell, Jeff Lizer, and Norman Allen. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to one’s favorite charity.
