Betty Faye  Dean (Marshall)
Betty Faye Marshall Dean, 81, retired office manager for JC Penney with 46 years of service, died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Saint Joseph Hospital. She was born November 1, 1936 in Paris, daughter of the late Robert Bryan and Ethel Mae Florence Marshall. Betty Faye was a graduate of Paris High School, and a faithful member of Paris First United Methodist church where she served on various committees. She loved family vacations to the Smoky Mountains or to the beach and her water aerobics friends at the YMCA. Betty Faye is survived by a daughter, Lisa Dean (Brian) Hill, Paris; a son, David (Becky) Dean, Lexington; three grandsons, Seth Dean, Zach Dean, Duncan Hill; a sister, Carolyn Schietz; and a brother, John Marshall. She was preceded in death by siblings, Shirley B. Marshall, Margaret Alexander, Bobbie Marshall, and Philip Marshall. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 9, at the Paris First United Methodist Church followed by a service at 12:00 noon by Rev. Dr. Eliseo A. Mejia. Memorials are suggested to Paris First United Methodist Church.
