Bruce H. Forsythe, Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Bruce H. Forsythe, a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1959, is a 1952 graduate of Paris High School and a graduate of Kentucky School of Mortuary Science where he was the recipient of the Mortuary Science Award.  He joined the staff of Hinton-Turner Funeral Home in September 1963, after working for the Davis Funeral Home from January 1954 to September 1963.  Bruce bought into the business in January 1, 1964 and served as Bourbon County Coroner for over 20 years.  He is married to Marie Dudley Keller Forsythe and they have three children, Mason Hart Forsythe, Clay Thomas Forsyth, and Margaret Anne Forsythe.  He is a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and is 50 year member of the Paris Lions Club where he has served in all offices and a term as District Governor of Lions Club International, a Melvin Jones Fellow, and a 50 year member of Bourbon Lodge #23, I.O.O.F.  His hobbies include golf.

Clay T. Forsyth, Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Clay T. Forsyth, a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1988, is a 1979 graduate of Paris High School, attended Centre College, and is a 1987 graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service.  He joined his father in August 1984.  Clay is married to Paula Gale Forsyth and has four children, Garrard Clay Forsyth, Kendyll Clark, Abigale Clark, and Garrett Clark.  He is an active member and deacon of First Baptist Church, Main Street.  Clay is a licensed insurance agent and is proud to represent Investors Heritage Life Insurance Company of Frankfort, Kentucky.  His hobbies include horseback riding and camping.
