Cherished Memories
Cherished Memories
Thankfully I have so many wonderful memories of my dear Moma Dean; it's hard to pick out only a few to talk about. Some of the many memories her and I shared together include making meringue shells, watching Dr. Quinn Medicine Women, and sitting on her back porch watching the birds in the feeders; every time I see a finch or purple martin I think of her. I can remember we used to listen to music while she mopped her kitchen floor and canned the veggies out of the garden. Many times I sat at the kitchen table with Gramps helping me with my math homework while she cooked lunch. She was such a good cook and I miss Moma Dean's green beans. I will always cherish all of the family cook-outs on Clay Kiser rd, and the many christmas celebrations in the basement. These special times will always hold a special place in my heart. Moma Dean had such an impact on my life; giving me advice, shaping me into the women I am today, providing support and stability, and showing unconditional love. I am so blessed to have had someone such as her for a grandmother. I love her with all of my heart and I thank God for such a gift. Although she will be greatly missed I know she is in a better place and I will see her again. Thank you Moma Dean for being such a wonderful grandmother. I love you more than anything. -Lindsey
